The City of Osseo and the Osseo Education Center have teamed up to host a free yard clean-up program for those Osseo residents who need assistance with yard care. In the spring and fall months, young adult students from the Osseo Education Center are available to help with yard chores, such as brush removal, weeding, lawn raking, planting of flowers or shrubs, and other special projects upon request.
Rakes and shovels were generously donated to the program by Menards. Homeowners only need to provide any twine, lawn bags, or containers for the debris. Unfortunately, students are not able to help with lawn mowing, shoveling, chemical treatments, or pruning large trees.
If you are interested in this no-cost program, please complete a downloadable form or or email your address, contact information, and a description of your request to fwallgren@ci.osseo.mn.us. You can also stop by City Hall or the Police Department. A program leader will contact you and schedule a time that is best for you. If you have further questions, please call Police Administrative Assistant Felicia Wallgren at 763-424-5444.
