Now that summer has officially begun, the Osseo Movies & Music in the Park series ramps up this week! One of the most popular local attractions for Osseo residents and visitors, the Movies & Music in the Park series exemplifies why it’s great to live, work and play in a small town like Osseo. The Movies and Music in the Park series runs on Tuesday evenings, beginning June 23 and is completely FREE!
The Series makes use of beautiful Boerboom Park in downtown Osseo, allowing patrons a great space to spread out, relax, and enjoy a wonderful concert or movie during the long summer evenings. The 2015 Series brings back some of your favorite local bands, many who have been playing in Osseo for years, as well as some new and exciting movies geared towards young children and teens.
All concerts will be held in the bandshell located in Boerboom Park and begin at 7:00 PM. The movies begin at 8:30 PM and are shown on a giant inflatable screen with a projector. These are very popular events, so be sure to get there early to get the best viewing spot. Please bring your own lawn or camp chairs or a blanket to spread out on the grass. There will be vendors on hand selling treats and beverages from time to time, so make sure to bring a few bucks to support these local vendors.
